Job Type: Casual/Vacation
Salary: $66 + p/h + penalty rates
The role
We are looking for someone, ideally with poultry and broiler bird experience who can go out on pickups throughout the night, to the Westside and East side of Melbourne and assess how the pickups are going. You will do between 2- 3 pick ups minimum per night.
You will also be required to assist and check anything that the broiler manager, logistics manager and animal welfare manager may require.
You will be required to work between the hours of 6.00pm to 6.00am and be available on call to take calls if required.
You will be given a company ute , mobile phone and a laptop if required.
Initially you will have training on day shift and then move to night shift.
To be successful for this role you must have
- A Full current driver’s licence and be able to provide a 5 year Vic roads driving report
- Previous experience within the poultry industry & with broiler birds preferred
- Previous experience as a delivery driver
- Be available to commence asap and work through the Christmas, New year period
- Be physically fit and strong and capable of manual lifting
- Have full work rights to work in Australia
- Be available to commence ASAP
- Be available to work night shift
