About the role

Join the team at Classic Hire as a Delivery Driver / Service Person in our Various Perth locations. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers, service & maintain our hire equipment as well as providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play an important role in supporting the growth and success of our business.

What you’ll be doing

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport and deliver goods to customers
• Load and unload delivery vehicles in a timely and careful manner
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking delivery times and obtaining customer signatures
• Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and pre-drive safety checks
• Carry out basic servicing of hire equipment
• Comply with all relevant road traffic and workplace safety regulations

What we’re looking for

• A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
• Experience in a similar delivery or service role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items
• Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under time pressure
• A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow established procedures and protocols
