Salary: $37.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Performing pre-start checks and reporting maintenance faults and defects.
Completing administrative tasks such as controlled waste tracking forms, waste collection receipts, delivery dockets, and consignment notes.
Collecting waste products from designated customers and freight yards
Maintaining a fatigue logbook with trip details, including required fatigue breaks to ensure full compliance with Commercial Driver Fatigue regulations.
Unloading the truck of collected waste products.
Fitness for work is imperative as this role is physical due to handling of pump hoses, drums, equipment and accessing the top of tanks via fixed ladder.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking candidates who meet the following essential qualifications:
Valid HR Driver’s License
Forklift Licence – highly regarded
Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment health check, including drug and alcohol testing.
Good standard of physical fitness
Highly motivated and focused
Organised and detail-oriented in daily work practices.
Demonstrated initiative, judgement, and problem-solving skills.
Professional and well-presented, with strong communication skills.
Pump truck experience (an advantage).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR truck driving with proven safe driving record
