Fuel Tanker Driver – Local Routes

Job Duties:

  • Transport fuel to service stations, mines, or airports (e.g., BP, Shell, Caltex).
  • Operate B-Double tankers (requires advanced licensing).
  • Adhere to dangerous goods (DG) safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • HC/MC (Heavy Combination/Multi-Combination) license.
  • DG (Dangerous Goods) License + SAP/SIA induction (for mine sites).
  • Experience with load restraint systems.

Avg. Earnings:

  • 45–45–70 AUD/hour (higher in remote areas with FIFO options).
  • Hazard allowances (+10–10–15/hour) for fuel transport.
