Food Delivery Van Driver

Job Type: Casual/Vacation

Salary: $32 per hour

What you’ll be doing

• Safely operate a delivery van to transport food orders to our retail customers
• Ensure all metro multi-drop deliveries are made in a timely and courteous manner including following STRICT temperature checking procedures to ensure our products are delivered at the optimum range
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery van
• Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations
• Other duties as required to support the overall delivery operations

What we’re looking for

• A valid driver’s licence and experience in driving delivery vans or similar vehicles
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with the local area and strong navigation skills, vehicles are fitting with GPS
• Flexibility to work casual shifts with early 5.30 am starts everyday, finish before lunchtime
