  • Delivery Driver

    Location: Newcastle, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSW

    Salary: $33.21 per hour

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Safely operating and maintaining vans & small Pantech trucks (class C) to transport parcels and freight
    • Adhering to all relevant road rules, regulations & safety protocols

    • Completing accurate documentation and trip logs
    • Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles

    A Successful Candidate Will:

    • Possess a valid NSW Class C drivers’ licence (or higher)
    • Be able to pass pre-employment physical assessment (including drug & alcohol screening)
    • Have experience in a similar delivery driving role
    • Possess strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
    • Have sound literacy skills
    • Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

  • Brochure Delivery Driver

    Job Type: Casual/Vacation

    Salary: $33.21 per hour

    We are looking for a Brochure Delivery Driver and Stock Room Person to join our team. This role will mostly involve delivering brochures to our host locations. Reporting to the iTourism Manager, you will be required to ensure your iTourism delivery vehicle (supplied) is stocked in the morning from our warehouse and then complete set run sheets for the week based on location topping up brochures, before returning the vehicle in the afternoon. As a commitment to our host locations, we ensure our boards are neat, tidy, and maintained, so while replenishing the brochures, you will need to do a general upkeep of the boards and take note of any bigger maintenance issues and report this back to your manager. You may also be required to assist with the installation/relocation of boards at host locations.

    As we house brochures in our small warehouse/stock room, you will be required to assist the team in unpacking deliveries and pack the brochure shelves ready for delivery. You may also be required to pick up stock for some of our customers.

    This role will suit someone who prefers an autonomous working environment. This person must be trustworthy, reliable, and organised. No experience necessary, full training provided.

    Responsibilities:

    Brochure Delivery specific:

    • Brochure delivery – distribute brochures to all iTourism host locations. You will need to be able to keep brochures in the correct positions on the boards and tidy if required.
    • Brochure delivery – update and follow run sheets based on locations.
    • Board maintenance – maintain all boards in a clean state, and repair as required (bigger maintenance issues can be reported to your Manager for repair). 
    • Board maintenance – assist with installation/relocating/removal of boards from host locations if required.
    • Stock management – pick up / and or/ deliver brochures to and from clients to keep up distribution stock.
    • Stock management – Return of old stock, if required by clients.
    • Stock management – report stock levels to your manager so that they can request more from the customer. 
    • Warehouse/Stock room – assist in unpacking brochure deliveries and replenishing the stock room shelves and your vehicle.
    • Vehicle upkeep – Manual license required. Maintain your vehicle in a neat and organised condition, report any vehicle maintenance issues to your manager and hand in fuel dockets to your manager.
    • Afternoon reset and tidy – including any brochure stock unpacking, vehicle cleaning, putting any old stock in the recycling bin in the skip and preparing your vehicle for the next day.

  • Water Truck Driver

    Job Type: Part time

    Salary: $35 – $40 per hour

    The opportunity

    We are looking for an experienced Water Truck Driver to join our busy Gold Coast team.  Covering Southport / Surfers Paradise and reporting to the Area Supervisor, this is a night driving role where you will be responsible for:

    • Transporting water to relevant site locations
    • Deliver potable water to teams as required
    • Dust suppression using the water-spray attachment
    • Nightly inspection of truck operation and maintenance
    • Other truck driving duties as required

    The job requirements

    This is a permanent part-time role for approximately 20 hours per week – working night shift.  Previous Water truck driving experience in landscape construction projects is highly regarded.  Other requirements include:

    Salary: $30 – $35 per hour

    Local Delivery driver required for small family run business. Medium Rigid license as a minimum, Heavy Rigid license preferred and Fork lift license is essential.

    Successful candidate must be prepared to work locally as well as some out of town work occasionally.

    The Role
