  • Truck Driver

    Job Type: Full time

    Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 per year

    IAT Transport is a successful and well established towing and car/ equipment haulage business. Our fleet of trucks range from  single car tow trucks to a fleet of multi car carriers and  our long haul 7 and 8 car carriers. Whilst our office is based on the Sunshine Coast, we do stretch far and wide utilizing our network of partners to transport vehicles nationally. 

    We do daily runs into the Brisbane region, and north to Bundaberg, Mackay and sometimes beyond,  and have trucks just committed to the Sunshine coast. 

    We specialize in customer service, and the majority of our staff come from  industry  backgrounds where presentation and customer service is priority. This is our point of difference, we understand and respect the needs of our clients and treat their cars  like they were our own.

    The role requires an enthusiastic, spirited individual that is happy for early starts! Our hours are somewhat varied pending our clients needs but we take the utmost care in managing the loads we place on our drivers and do our utmost to ensure a solid work life balance is considered at all times.

    We are looking for  drivers with either a current MR for our smaller trucks and or HC or MC  license to drive our larger   7 -8  Car Carriers. Drivers can be located and based  anywhere between Gold Coast and  Townsville . We currently have an immediate  vacancy operating out of our Maryborough Depo.

  • Van driver 

    Job Type: Casual/Vacation

    Salary: $32.76 per hour + super

    Currently they are looking for an Van driver – auto, to assist with the delivery of food to schools.

    To be considered for this role you must possess the following attributes:-

    • A full driving licence – auto is fine
    • Valid Working With Children Check
    • Clean driving record – willing to provide a recent report form VicRoads
    • Experience with customer facing delivery 
    • 2 work related references.

    The roles will include but not be limited to:-

    • Delivery to schools
    • Some loading and unloading when required.
    • Experience in working in metro Melbourne
    • Exceptional time management skills as well as an excellent attendance record

  • DELIVERY DRIVER

    Job Type: Full time

    Salary: $28 – $35 per hour

    We are looking for Delivery Drivers to join our team. The shifts will start at 3:30am and finish around 10am / 11am depending on the number of deliveries across 7 days. 

    As a delivery driver you will be required to check all orders as you load into the truck ( prepared before by the packers ). You will then deliver our products to the boutique and to the Wholesalers. 

    Part-time and permanent position, 25h to 32h per week to start. The company is growing so more hours will be available in the future.

    You will be required to drive carefully and be very organized. There will be a road map provided for your delivery route. 

    After finishing the deliveries, you will then return to the factory. 

  • Delivery Driver

    Salary: $30 – $32 per hour

    We are looking for a conscientious and reliable individual to fill our Permanent Part Time delivery driver role, joining our Facilities Support Services team located at an iconic Melbourne site located in the CBD / Southbank.

    Driving our 3T Fuso Canter (with tail gate lifter) you will be responsible for the delivery and pick up of merchandise and material in the Greater Melbourne Area.

    When not on the road you will be based at the site, assisting your team mates with the delivery of our other facility support related services.

    Note, this role does require lifting, bending, climbing, the use of trolleys and pallet-jacks.

    A forklift licence, or the preparedness to get one, will be very well regarded.

    Experience with logistics software / time management apps will be an advantage.

  • Delivery Driver / Yard Hand / Trade Assistant

    Key Responsibilities though not limited to:

    • Delivery and collection of vehicles, trucks, and equipment as required.
    • Delivery/collection of parts and general goods as required.
    • Performing pre-start / vehicle checks and reporting basic maintenance needs to the Workshop Supervisor.
    • Moving, organising, and loading/unloading materials, freight, plant equipment, or inventory within yards.
    • Responsible for ensuring fleet have appropriate decals and adequate decal inventory and stock levels at all times.
    • Sound experience and knowledge with computers and electronic devices such as; i-phones & tablets.
    • Assist with on/off hire inspection as required to cover leave or peak periods.
    • Assisting with vehicle cleaning & detailing as required to cover leave or peak periods.
    • General workshop and yard duties including maintain cleanliness of workshop and yard presentation.
    • Supporting tradespeople with basic mechanical tasks (under supervision).
    • Handling tools and parts and preparing equipment for hire.

    To Be Successful, You’ll Need:

    • Previous experience in a driving and trade assistant role.
    • HR licence (essential).
    • Able to operate basic paperless electronic android freight tracking system.
    • Forklift licence (preferred).
    • Load Restraint Certificate (desirable).
    • Drivers Medical less than 12 months (desirable).
    • Strong safety awareness and ability to follow WHS procedures.
    • High level of accuracy in all aspects of work.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude or experience assisting in a workshop.
    • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
    • Strong time management skills and capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a small team environment.
