Join the team at Classic Hire as a Delivery Driver / Service Person in our Various Perth locations. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers, service & maintain our hire equipment as well as providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play an important role in supporting the growth and success of our business.

What you’ll be doing

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport and deliver goods to customers
• Load and unload delivery vehicles in a timely and careful manner
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking delivery times and obtaining customer signatures
• Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and pre-drive safety checks
• Carry out basic servicing of hire equipment
• Comply with all relevant road traffic and workplace safety regulations

What we’re looking for

• A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
• Experience in a similar delivery or service role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items

 Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste removal and recycling services throughout Australia for over 90 years.   We are continuing to experience growth in our business operations in Perth WA, and are currently looking to recruit a team of drivers to operate Side Arm Waste collection vehicles (Dual Control) in our upcoming domestic waste collection contract in the Joondalup region, and will be responsible for the collection of household waste bins.

The roles are available for an immediate start. Based in the area of Malaga WA.

·         possess good communications skills;

·         have good attention to detail;

Experience as a domestic waste collection driver is essential. 

This is a long term position with penalty rates paid for all overtime. 

In accordance with our Company’s recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a  Pre Employment Medical, which includes a drug test.   A current driving history, with a good driving record will also need to be provided.

Earlyrise Baking Co is on the lookout Delivery Drivers based at our distribution depots in Dubbo, Bathurst, Orange, and Tamworth. We have full-time opportunities available for both local van and truck drivers.

Shift Details

Full-time shifts are across a 5-day week, which may include early morning or overnight runs depending on the delivery route. Flexibility is required to meet business and customer needs – and we’ll always try to work with your availability.

About the Role

In your role as a Driver, your key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

• Delivery – assist in the delivery of freshly baked and packed products. This involves loading/unloading baked products with lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 20 kg.
• Customer Service – providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and passing on customer complaints to the correct personnel.
• Cleaning – assist in daily end of day/shift cleaning of the vehicle.

About You

• Have 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Hold a valid drivers license and are comfortable with manual vehicles.
• An understanding of Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards – or are ready to learn!
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain high standards of quality in work.
• Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (maximum 25kg).
