What you’ll be doing

• Safely operate a delivery van to transport food orders to our retail customers

• Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries

West Coast Poly Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Delivery Drivers to join our team in Canning Vale, WA. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our products to customers across the region.

What you’ll be doing

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customer in rural and metro locations
• Long distance country driving and overnight stays away from home will be required (avg 2 night per week)
• Load and unload large products using manual techniques

We are a busy Perth-based independent living equipment retailer with four stores across the metro area. We are seeking a customer service-focused delivery driver with an unblemished C-Class driver’s license.

You will need to be a great communicator with excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company to our client base requiring mobility equipment.

The position is fast-paced and requires a highly organised, well-presented, team-oriented person with great time management skills, along with a sound knowledge of Perth’s roads/suburbs.

Basic practical mechanical ability and intermediate computer literacy are also required for the position. Previous experience in a similar role will be well regarded, but not essential for the right person.

Some heavy lifting is also required for this role. Correct training and the use of delivery aids will be provided for the delivery and collection of recline and lift chairs, hospital beds, and mobility scooters to and from customers’ homes, Aged Care Facilities, and suppliers.

Due to the nature of the role and the requirement to work with vulnerable members of the community, we require our staff to be fully vaccinated and have, or be willing to undertake a National Police Clearance.
