Delivery Driver

Salary: $31 – $35 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team at Richmond Oysters’ in Knoxfield. As a Casual Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering our premium seafood and other food products to our valued customers throughout the metropolitan area. With a focus on providing exceptional customer service, this role is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and our clients receive their orders in a timely manner.

What you’ll be doing

1. Safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport seafood products to customers
2. Providing friendly and professional customer service to clients
3. Accurately picking, packing and loading orders for delivery
4. Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the delivery vehicle
5. Adhering to all relevant road rules and safety regulations
6. Assisting with stock control and inventory management as required

What we’re looking for

1. A valid Australian driver’s licence (MR as a minimum) with a clean driving record
2. Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner
3. Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
4. Familiarity with the local area and knowledge of efficient delivery routes
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
6. Previous experience in a delivery or courier role is highly regarded
