Delivery Driver

Job Type: Part time

Salary: $28 – $35 per hour

What you’ll be doing

• Pick up, load, and deliver products to customers within the local area
• Manual handling ranging from light to heavy products
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining customer signatures and completing delivery paperwork
• Ensure the safe handling and transportation of goods to prevent damage
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the delivery van is in good working order
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods in the store as needed

What we’re looking for

• Valid driver’s licence and a safe driving record
• Valid Medium Rigid or High Rigid Truck Licence
• Experience in a customer service or delivery-oriented role
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with the local area and ability to navigate efficiently
• Availability to work weekends is essential
