Earlyrise Baking Co is on the lookout Delivery Drivers based at our distribution depots in Dubbo, Bathurst, Orange, and Tamworth. We have full-time opportunities available for both local van and truck drivers.

Whether you’re experienced with light delivery vans or licensed to drive a Heavy Rigid (HR) truck, we want to hear from you!

Shift Details

Full-time shifts are across a 5-day week, which may include early morning or overnight runs depending on the delivery route. Flexibility is required to meet business and customer needs – and we’ll always try to work with your availability.

About the Role

In your role as a Driver, your key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

• Delivery – assist in the delivery of freshly baked and packed products. This involves loading/unloading baked products with lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 20 kg.
• Customer Service – providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and passing on customer complaints to the correct personnel.
• Cleaning – assist in daily end of day/shift cleaning of the vehicle.

About You

• Have 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Hold a valid drivers license and are comfortable with manual vehicles.
• An understanding of Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards – or are ready to learn!
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain high standards of quality in work.
• Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (maximum 25kg).

Qualified and/or experienced salary starting from $68,864.00 – $76,515.00 as per award rates and shift allowances and in line with experience.
