Disaster Response Truck Driver – Statewide

Emergency Services Role:
Operate specialized vehicles for state emergency services during bushfires, floods, and other crises across regional and metro areas.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Monthly Earnings: 7,500−7,500−9,000 AUD
  • Base Pay: 38−38−45/hr
  • Emergency Activation: $750/day when deployed
  • Hazard Pay: +$50/hr in danger zones

Operational Requirements:

• Licensing: MC (Multi-Combination) class mandatory
• Certifications:
  • Rural Fire Service accreditation
  • Swiftwater rescue training

• Physical:
  • Fitness test (carry 25kg over 100m)
  • Night vision capability

  • 30,000L water tankers
  • Mobile incident command centers
  • High-clearance 4WD supply trucks
