Mine Site Shuttle Driver

FIFO Support Position:
Transport mining personnel between Perth Airport and resource sites in the Pilbara region, operating luxury coaches for major mining companies.

Earnings Structure:

• Monthly Income: 8,500−8,500−10,500 AUD
  • Base Salary: $38/hr
  • Remote Allowance: $120/day on site
  • Shift Penalties: 2.1x pay on public holidays
• Roster Options:
  • 2:1 (weeks on/off)
  • 8:6 (days on/off) with shorter swings

Special Requirements:

• Licensing: HC (Heavy Combination) or higher
• Clearances:
  • National Police Certificate
  • Mining Safety (Standard 11) induction
  • Drug/alcohol testing compliance
• Skills:
  • Fatigue management training
  • Remote first aid certified
  • Experience with 4WD recovery

Equipment & Conditions:

• Drive Volvo or Scania coaches with sleeper pods
• Navigate unsealed mine access roads
• Operate in extreme temperatures (up to 50°C)
