  • Parcel Delivery Driver

    Job Type: Casual/Vacation
    Salary: $32.84 per hour

    Qualifications & experience

    • You must hold at least a C Class (Car) Automatic or higher driver’s licence.
    • You must be able to follow instructions, work autonomously and effectively manage time to complete tasks on schedule.
    • You must have excellent punctuality, organisation and personal accountability.
    • You must have Full Rights to work in Australia
    • You must have a high attention towards safety
    • You will be required to undergo a Police check which the company will provide

    Tasks & responsibilities

    • Sorting and scanning parcels at the start of each shift and loading into supplied vehicle
    • Deliveries must be performed in a timely and accurate manner within the Kingaroy town area
    • Work shift starts at 9:00am
    • You will be required to do vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness and report any issues or concerns with the vehicle to the manager

    Benefits

    • Casual Position with an immediate start
    • 5 days per week minimum of 4 hours per day but depending on delivery volume could be up to 8 hours per day

  • Delivery Driver

    Salary: $32 per hour

    What you’ll be doing

    • Safely operate a delivery van to transport food orders to our retail customers
    • Ensure all metro multi-drop deliveries are made in a timely and courteous manner including following STRICT temperature checking procedures to ensure our products are delivered at the optimum range
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery van
    • Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries
    • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers as needed
    • Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations
    • Other duties as required to support the overall delivery operations

    What we’re looking for

    • A valid driver’s licence and experience in driving delivery vans or similar vehicles
    • Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively
    • Excellent time management and organisational skills
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Familiarity with the local area and strong navigation skills, vehicles are fitting with GPS
