    Role Description
    We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The role involves operating light commercial vehicles (LDV/Transit van size, up to 4.5t GVM) to deliver goods to customers across Canberra and sorrounds. This is a hands-on role requiring safe driving, efficient delivery, and customer service.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate LDV/Transit-sized vans (up to 4.5t GVM) in compliance with the Heavy Vehicle National Law and ACT road transport legislation.
    • Safely load, secure, and unload goods (manual handling required, up to 20kg) for customer deliveries.
    • Complete multiple deliveries per day to cafés, restaurants, and businesses.
    • Maintain delivery documentation.
    • Uphold workplace health and safety obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
    • Represent the company professionally with customers.
    • Conduct daily pre-start checks and report vehicle defects.

    Requirements

    • Current valid ACT (or equivalent interstate) Class C driver licence.
    • Demonstrated safe driving record.
    • Ability to undertake manual handling, including lifting up to 20kg.
    • Knowledge of local Canberra/ACT road networks preferred.
    • Basic understanding of chain of responsibility requirements under the Heavy Vehicle National Law.
    • Strong punctuality, reliability, and customer service skills.

    Desirable

    • Previous commercial delivery or courier experience.
    • Familiarity with warehouse/delivery logistics.

  • Milk Delivery Driver

    Job Type: Full time

    Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year

    Must have HR open the License.

    Experience working in a multidrop driving role is highly regarded.

    Patience and Punctuality Must.

    Need to fit and able to do manual handling.

    Ability to lift up to 20 kg often.

    Valid work visa or Australian Permanent Resident.

    Build positive relationships with customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Replenish vending machines with products, including snacks, beverages, and other merchandise, as per the established schedule and inventory requirements.

    • Conduct regular inventory checks to identify low-stock levels, expired products, and other discrepancies, reporting any issues to management in a timely manner.

    • Perform basic maintenance tasks on vending machines, such as cleaning, refilling change and bill validators, and repairing minor malfunctions.

    Mediport is seeking a transport professional with both van and truck driving expertise to assist with deliveries to health care wholesalers, doctors’ surgeries, Chemists, Health Clinics, and Municipal councils.

    The vehicles are company-owned, this is not a subcontracting position.

    Our warehouse is in Sunshine West.  

    The successful candidate will have experience in both van and HR truck driving and be able to highlight relevant experience with high-value deliveries.
